Our Staff

Stephanie Dozois, Camp Director

Stephanie is very excited to start this year at Wachusett Theater Co. Throughout high school she was very active in her school and church choirs and ensembles. She was trained as a soprano singer and performed in many school plays. She has spent most of her adult life caring for children as a nanny and as a Minister of Youth and Families. She has a creative eye and a passion for photography.

Melissa Rayla, Youth Director

Melissa Hansen is thrilled to be directing Annie, JR. this year!  She is a long time Wachusett Theatre Company veteran, and has been directing youth theater for over a decade.  Having been on stage since the age of 5 she loves sharing the thrill of live theater with our youth. Melissa started out as a gymnast but quickly realized that dance and vocal training were much more useful in the world of musical theater.  She is trained in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, and voice. She attended Worcester State University where she studied Early Childhood Education and Psychology.

Although she enjoys directing, her favorite on stage credits include, Peter Pan, Aida, Anything Goes, and The King and I.  Keep an eye out for her cameo appearances in her productions each year! Special thanks to Kristian, for his continued support, and to Mom and Dad for always letting me dream!
